While food is being distributed at a soup kitchen, Laura (Luise Aschenbrenner), Evîn (Bayan Layla), and Julia (Lea van Acken) unexpectedly cross paths. Laura, who is on day release from prison, defends Evîn, a Kurdish woman, when she is racially abused by a man waiting in line. But the situation gets out of control. Police officer Julia arrives and tries to calm things down. Laura, Evîn, and Julia’s paths cross for an intense moment before they quickly disappear again into the anonymous hustle and bustle of the big city.
